Baidyanath Arogyavardhini Vati The word Arogya means good health and Vardhini means improver. It means that the formulation, which improves good health, is known as Arogyavardhini. It is used in the imbalances of all the three Doshas (humors). It is used for Leprosy, Fever, Edema, Obesity, Jaundice and other Hepatic disorders. It is good for lack of Appetite, Indigestion & Irregular bowls, Liver disorders and Skin diseases. Acts as an alternative, carminative stomachic. According to Ayurveda: Arogyavardhini Vati promotes digestive fire (Pitta), clears body channels for the nutrients to reach to the tissues, balances fats in the body and removes toxins by improving the digestive system. It also acts as tonic to Liver, Heart, Rectum, Kidneys, Uterus and Intestines & is useful in inflammatory conditions of Intestines, Chronic fevers, Jaundice and for Water retention. This rejuvenator helps to improve the appetite & decrease the fats from the body. It is beneficial in reducing the inflammation of Liver, Spleen, Bladder, Kidney, Uterus, Intestines, Heart etc. & also in chronic Fever, Ascitis, Jaundice and chronic renal diseases. It flushes out the intestinal toxicity, produces Pachak Pitta (Fire) (Gastric juices) and makes the liver healthy. Thus, it is beneficial in Indigestion, Dyspepsia and in Liver disorders. Disordered functioning of endocrine glands (low or high hormonal production) leads to imbalanced growth of body and decreases the reflexes and there seems to be no pubertic changes (development of sex organs) in males or in females.
